What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to the same sites on your next visit. Some are necessary for the site to work, others require your consent.
How we manage cookies on this site
On your first visit we show a banner with two options: Accept or Decline. Your choice is saved on your device and won't be asked again, unless you change it yourself via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page.
Technical cookies (always active)
These are the cookies necessary for the site's basic operation (e.g. to remember your choice on the cookie banner). They don't require consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| chd_cookie_consenso | Remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies | No expiry, stays on your device until you clear it |
Third-party cookies (only with your consent)
The "Search" form on this site is our own: it doesn't load any external script or set any third-party cookies. Clicking "Search" takes you to Octorate's booking site (book.octorate.com), an external site with its own privacy policy and cookies, independent from this one.
In the same way, the map in the "Where we are" section (provided by Google Maps) only loads automatically if you've accepted from the banner; otherwise you'll find a button to load it manually whenever you like.
| Service | Provider | Purpose | More information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Google Ireland Limited | Map in the "Where we are" section | Google's privacy policy |
When you leave this site to book on book.octorate.com, Octorate's own cookies and privacy policy apply: Octorate's privacy policy.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page: the banner will reappear and you can choose again.
You can also block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings; note that disabling technical cookies may cause some parts of the site to stop working correctly.
