1. Data controller
The data controller is CHD SRL, VAT number (P.IVA) 02969440425, registered at Via Giacomo Matteotti 8, 60121 Ancona (AN), Italy. For any request about the processing of your personal data, you can write to chdrooms.affittacamere@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect the personal data you voluntarily provide, in the following cases:
- Enquiries or booking requests: when you contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone, or through the booking calendar, we collect the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, stay dates, number of guests).
- Confirmed bookings: the data required for your stay (personal details, ID document, contact information) is also collected through our booking management system (Hostex), as required by Italian law regarding the reporting of guests to public security authorities.
- Browsing the site: our hosting provider may collect minimal technical data necessary for the site to function (e.g. IP address, browser type), for the time strictly necessary for security and proper operation of the service.
We do not collect special category data (GDPR Art. 9) and we do not carry out profiling. The site does not use profiling or advertising cookies.

4. Who we share your data with
Your data may be shared with:
- Hostex — the system we use for the calendar, bookings, and communication with booking platforms (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb) — only for bookings made through those channels;
- our hosting provider (Netlify), which hosts the website;
- the relevant public authorities (e.g. local police, the Municipality of Ancona), where required by law;
- our accountant, for tax purposes.
We do not sell or share your data for third-party marketing purposes.
5. International data transfers
Some of the providers we use (such as our hosting provider) may process data on servers located outside the European Union. In these cases, we ensure the transfer complies with GDPR safeguards (e.g. the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as necessary to respond to your request or manage your stay, and afterwards for the period required by law (e.g. retention of tax records, public security records), and in any case no longer than necessary for the purposes stated.
7. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to ask us at any time for:
- access to your personal data;
- rectification or erasure of your data;
- restriction of processing;
- data portability;
- to object to processing, in the cases provided by law.
You can exercise these rights by writing to chdrooms.affittacamere@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Minors
This site is not intended to knowingly collect data from minors. Bookings can only be made by adults.

This policy may be updated over time, for example following regulatory changes or changes to the services we use. We encourage you to check it periodically. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
